We are weapons.

Dear people that are intimidated by people of color or people from other ethnicities. You dont need to look at us as weapons to be feared. Yes, we are very strong people. We do have powers but we are not to be feared. We are physically strong. JUST LIKE YOU. We are mentally strong. JUST LIKE YOU. We are educated and have the same capacity to adapt JUST LIKE YOU. We are human. JUST LIKE YOU. If you want to treat people that are different than you like a weapon, then do just that. When you educate yourself on a gun, you dont fear it, rather than RESPECT it. You understand that that firearm’s strength. That power can be used for both GOOD and BAD. You understand that that weapon will be able to help you in cases that you won’t be able to by yourself. Stop limiting your scenery because of fear because PEOPLE are bridges and they all have something to offer regardless if their pigment and backround is different than yours. You can learn something from a different culture. You can better yourself by listening to what others have gone through. Don’t look at people as if they are inferior because by putting yourself in their shoes may be the simple action to create peace within yourself along with everybody around you.
Dear people of color. Treat yourself as the weapon you are. You are powerful. You are strong. You are smart and you can and will make a difference. JUST LIKE THEM. Dont feed into this nonsense that the world is trying instill into your brains to make you to think that you are suppose to be a certain way. Stop allowing yourself to spread hatred upon each other because you are being fed the same crap that everybody else is being fed by the news media and radio stations. Stop revolving yourselves around the stereotypes that you feel you have to follow and definitely stop holding your people back by degrading the ones that are trying to be the weapons that they are made to be. Stop telling each other that you are suppose to act a certain way. Suppose to walk, talk and dress a certain type of way. Stop degrading people because they would rather choose to step out of those stereotypes and educate themselves and put themselves into a different atmosphere.
WE are strong. WE are powerful. WE are intelligent. WE have powers. WE can be loved and most importantly WE ARE ALL IMPORTANT!!!!
My entire life I have been fighting with the people around me as well as fighting myself, trying to find out where I need to be and what I need to do to be the best person that I can possibly be. To be the best weapon that I can be. Luckily for me, I had strong and open-minded individuals in my life that helped guide me through all that I have struggled from. My mother who gave me all the love that she could have and helped me understand that I am who I am and not to allow anybody to change that. My loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends of the family who would mentor me and lead me to the path that I NEEDED rather than the path that I wanted. I was blessed to have the most amazing father that I could ever have. His experience with life before me has lead me to understand that I, just like everybody else, is not made out of glass. To allow me to make my mistakes and learn from them. To have him and his amazing wife in my life to teach me that there is no such thing as giving up. To never put the word CAN’T in my vocabulary.
Ladies and gentleman, WE all need to make a lot of changes. WE need to start communicating with each other. WE need to start helping each other. WE need to stop being so selfish and understand that WE ALL have something to offer to one another. Once we are able to reteach our minds and take the race out of being human then we can come together and lift each other up in ways that we could never imagine. Behind the dreams of Martin Luther King, the peace shown by Muhatma Ghandi and the courage portrayed by everybody throughout our history was an ordinary human that had a vision beyond what their eyes could see and for that vision to be achieved, we had to be the individual weapons that we are and fight discrimination and hate. To battle the insecurities that we have been brainwashed to believe. We are weapons and if used properly we can save the future. WE all need to make a lot of changes. We need to start communicating with each other. We need to start helping each other. We need to stop being so selfish and understand that we all have something to offer to one another. Look at your friends. See how diversified just that small group is. Now open yourself to the world and you will open that door and invite knowledge with no end. Stop judging a book by its cover and determine what that person has to offer after you start reading their pages.
